Here is one I use for when I have those cravings! I always bookmark my fav recipes!
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 cup ground almonds
* 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
* dash salt
* 1/2 cup butter, softened
* 3/4 cup granulated sugar
* 1 large egg white
* 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
* 48 whole blanched almonds
Stir together flour, ground almonds, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar at medium speed of electric hand held mixer. Beat in egg white and almond extract.
Stir flour and ground almond mixture into the creamed mixture.
Cover with plastic wrap; chill for about 2 hours.
Shape dough into small balls, about 3/4-inch. Place balls 2 inches apart; flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass. Press an almond into the center of each cookie. Bake at 350° for about 12 minutes, or until set but not browned.
Enjoy!!!!!!

Super Easy PB cookies preheat oven to 325 mix together 1 cup of peanut butter, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg until well blended. roll into balls place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. flatten with a fork. bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Do not overbake. these are really good cookies but I sometimes find the dough is too mushy to roll. in that case I add about 1/4 cup flour & a dash of vanilla.

try peppermint bark
INGREDIENTS
1 (12 ounce) package NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Morsels
24 hard peppermint candies
DIRECTIONS
LINE baking sheet with waxed paper.
MICROWAVE morsels in medium, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70 percent) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
PLACE peppermint candies in heavy-duty plastic bag. Crush candies using rolling pin or other heavy object. While holding strainer over melted morsels, pour crushed candy into strainer. Shake to release all small candy pieces; reserve larger candy pieces. Stir morsel-peppermint mixture.
SPREAD mixture to desired thickness on prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with reserved candy pieces; press in lightly. Let stand for about 1 hour or until firm. Break into pieces. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
