okay, my mom is allergic to cotton, and we live in Georgia, ha, irony,eh?
but anyhow, i heard of all ways to cure allergies and what not - boiling the same leave of the plant your allergic to. ive heard this done on many accounts - poison ivies, goldenrod, etc. and it seems to make sense, because whats a snake antivenom? so, the question im asking is, after googling it and not finding results, is it possible to make tea out of the leaves of cotton plants?

I'm not sure, but this seems like the sort of question a homeopath could answer.

Wow...speaking from an allergic person I would be very careful! Make sure that you have an EPI pen handy. I have not heard of this but a simple option may be using something as easy as using a cotton tea bag. I guess that it would depend on the severity of her allergy. I know they make them. As far as making the tea from the leaves, that would be a challenge. I know that you would have to pick the plants fairly young before they bow up. (grow into cotton balls). I tried the sub-lingual method (drops under the tongue) and that helped me. But you have to get that from an allergist that specializes in it. Good luck and be careful!

i'm sure it is, but it would probably be really nasty and i don't think it really works. you can't cure yourself of an allergy.
