slight problem girl i like is big sister of my daughters ( i'm divorced and single at the moment) best friend (there is a large age gap between the sisters she is not much younger than me), we have been working in the same place and have got to being friends but i would like to ask her out
problem is my daughter is not keen on the idea... what do i do?

I wouldnt do anything. Your children should be more important to you then dating this girl

Really before you date anyone you should do that with your kids not knowing because they could get attached and then you and the young lady may quickly end and there the girls are heart broken. You should really build a solid relationship before you get the kids involved unless they are kind of old like high school or something. This way you will not have any problems too soon and if after awhile you two develop a strong enough relationship then it can handle issues with your daughters dealing with the relationship better because true love is worth fighting for not lust.

well find out if the girlie feels the same about you and if not maybe hold off but if she seems interested your daughter aught to get over it it might be awkward though keep that in mind but just ask her flat out if shed like to go out sometime i love the confidence in that

Is it your daughter's friend? Because if it's her big sister wouldn't that make it one of your daughters as well? Is she your stepdaughter?
