Ok. Im a male senior in High school. There's this girl I have known for 2 years. This year we hang out everyday. I started to have feelings for her. I really like this girl. I love her more than words could say. I feel like she is the one for me. I feel like I will never find a girl like that ever again. I always wanted to ask her out, but shes leaving back to her home state Louisiana for sure and she said that she'll probably wont come back to California ever again. I dont know If she likes me or not. So what should I do? Should I tell her how I feel right before she leaves, therefore if she thinks im weird, she'll never see me again anyway? I dont want to go to prom with her because Im afraid she'll look so good that it makes me feel like **** when she leaves because I know i'll never get over it.

I have been in this exact situation quite recently from the girl's perspective. One of my best guy friends started to have feelings for me, but I went away to boarding school right after I found out and have not seen him since. The problem is that I am in love with him too. Take my word for it: Act now. Ask her to prom. Don't wait until the last second before she leaves. It will be impossibly painful for both of you. Chances are, if she talks to you every day and has known you for two years, she either has feelings for you too and/or knows you have feelings for her. Don't condemn yourself and her to be heartbroken, and think about it this way, if she's really as great as you think, would she ever call you a freak or turn you down flat to a dance? At worst, she may just say no politely because she does not want to ruin your friendship. Be brave. Good luck.

bro the first thing about love is that if u like someone or love someone u should tell them about it before its too late or else someone else will do it. Even if she doesn't like u she would accept u as a friend and if u hold those feelings about her inside u then it will keep haunting u. as long as u tell her it will make u feel like u just finished ur heavy burden. trust me i let some fine shorties go with out telling them how i felt about them and i wish i had a second chance but thats life so go for it .

Don't be lame. Please ask her to prom because if you don't you WILL regret it for the rest of your life if you don't. Ask her if you can visit her at college and if she is interested in long distance relationships. This may give you a hint if she is interested in you. That'd be key.

tell her, if you dont tell her and you still like her after she is gone you'll have a problem. just tell her and enjoy the 8 or so months you have.
