Okay this was just a little bit wierd for me to read.
Your father.
Told your boyfriend you do not have herpes.
Hmm, why would your dad know, unless he has taken you to a planned parenthood center, or a gynocologist, and then found out you were engaging in sexual relations to even get tested for it? I guess this doesn't make sense, or you aren't giving enough information...
If you are THAT desperate to get the guy to talk to you, then I would suggest a couple of things.
If you are a virgin- Go to the gyno and get tested, take the guy with you and have him talk to the gyno himself. The gyno CAN tell if you have had any sexual relations before, trust me, even if it was only fingering. That's as far as you can go, besides a written statement from your doctor stating you were indeed a virgin, therefore herpes cannot possibly happen.
If you are not a virgin- Go to the gyno/Planned Parenthood, and get tested for STD's and AIDS, going that extra mile to prove you haven't gotten anything, will show him that you are being true.
Sit the guy down and explain to him that the rumor is false, and you really like him and want to be with him, and show him your test results.
Other than that, seems like he's steering clear of you. I would find a guy that believes you and likes you for who you really are.
Which I get is a sensitive caring girl.
Good luck and stay safe!

Ok, would any of you people that are quick to say "dump him" act any differently if you were in his place? Ths dude has every right to be nervous.... rumor or not, this isn't some 90210 episode, this is his life. If I was led to believe that a person I was with potentially had herpes, you bet you're booty, I'd be nervous. You can't blame the guy for being afraid!! I think you should show him results and talk about it.

There are a few things you might consider. If you and your boyfriend are/were having sexual relations, the possibility exists that he gave it to you or you to him...assuming one or the other of you has herpes. If your Dad says you're clean, if he's not an MD I would suggest you get checked by a licensed doctor. And, you might suggest your boyfriend do so as well. If the doc says you're clean, then tell your boyfriend. And remember, whenever you have sex with someone, you're having sex with everyone they've had sex with. Be sure to use protection.

Obviously you can't infect him unless you have sex with him, that is if you had any. He doesn't seem to care about you if he won't even come see you. What I suggest doing is going to get checked then dump him while showing him the results that say you are clean. That would be a slap in the face to that ungrateful.

Have your doctor write him a note saying that you have been tested for herpes and you do NOT have it.
If you've done all you can to convince your boyfriend then forget about him. If he can't take your word on something like this then he's not worth it cuz a relationship is about trust!

Dump him. He obviously doesn't care about you if is primary concern about you is a sexually-transmitted disease. Besides, he's not very loyal if he believes in rumors more than in you. You can be tested for herpes by a doctor if you have any doubts.

Wow your bf should trust you, maybe prove to him (get tested and show him the results) that you don't have herpies.

I think you should get rid of the boyfriend. If he can't be there for you and doesn't believe you (assuming the rumor was false), he's not worth it.

If your dads and your word isn't good enough for him then I'd say he's really not worth having as a boyfriend.
