i am a very paranoid person,i always am very cautious and then i made some new friends who smoked weed and tried it.i didnt like it because i got paranoid but i kept trying to hopefully get an "awesome high" like my friends had.i only experianced more paranoia and scary hallucinations and i was cold and shaking .i wanna know if i keep trying could i develop a personality disorder or bad mental health

I don't think you will get the same "high" your friends are getting. You definitely don't need something that makes you more paranoid.

I would stop smoking weed if I were you! Some people are predisposed to react negatively to it with paranoia, etc.

You seem to have that predisposition. Drug-induced paranoia is no fun -- why risk it for an "awesome high"? Just hang out with your friends without smoking. And if they won't accept you if you don't smoke, then get new friends.

no, weed does not cause personality disorders or mental health problems. however, weed also does not make you hallucinate. sometimes people lace their weed with other drugs, this could be what happened to you.

if it doesn't work for you.....WHY would you keep trying it?

thats like saying...oh....I walked across the street and no car hit me....let me do it again and again till a car DOES hit me.
