We've had a class together for 3 months, and he would flirt with me but I would never reciprocate. We would only talk in groups but never directly, and I told him and some others that I worked at Hardees. So I finally began paying attention to him when he said this. He was like "Can I have a Hardees Burger".I was like "are you talking to me." He said "yeah". And I said "I didn't think you would remember"Then he said" I remember everything we talked about" After that I began liking him.So the last day of class came, and he didn't seem like he would approach me so I wrote my number down and gave it to him after class. He called the same day,and I asked him would he have approached me if I didn't approach him.He said he wanted to,and was glad I gave him my number. So we began talking on a daily basis, and he asked if we could hang out one day,so I went to his dorm room the next day to watch a movie. And the whole time I was there his heart was beating really fast.I asked him why his heart was

beating so fast and he told me he didn't know. Well we got caught up in the moment and began having sex. After 3 mins I told him this wasn't me and I couldn't do this. He said it was ok. Well we kept talking on a daily basis and we got on the subject of relationships. He told me he wasn't looking for a relationship. So I thought to myself If we continue talking everyday he will fall for me. Well one day he didn't call and I asked him why. He told me that after we got off the phone the night before he had strong feelings for me,so he didn't call. He says he was hurt in a previous relationship and is not trying to put his self in the position again. So eveytime we would have a good conversation the next day he wouldn't call. One day he would tell me let's stop talking, then the next he has felling for me.He's says that he focused on school and a relationship would distract him. What do you think is happening?

wow,
okay so listen....he prob likes you for sure adn thats why he doesnt call u, so just remember. you should confront him by saying like, do u like me or not, and say basicly everytihng you wrote on the question. he is scared of a relationship? what does he think, he is never going to have a girlfreind, wife...?? he obviosly needs some tender loving care. talk to him about it saying that you like him and you need to know if he wants to have a relationship. if not, leave and say fine we are just friends but dont expect me to be your girfriend when ur ready, b/c who knows when he will be ready. and you know what, if u find another guy go ahead. dont waste your time on this guys if he is giving you mixed feelings. follow your heart....good luck

It sounds like this began as a classic case of playing hard to get (perhaps not intentionally on your part) that really got the guy interested, but when you reciprocated by showing interest and getting physical, game over. Why, you ask? Flirting is fun, and people of either sex yearn for what they can't have. However, many times when we get it, we find out it's not what we wanted after all. Such is life.
This guy doesn't really seem ready for a relationship even though he went through all the motions, and these "hang-out" sessions in his dorm room are likely geared towards getting physical without making a commitment to you. It's a sad fact of life, but many guys in college just aren't focused on settling down. Now, getting down ... that's another story!
The best thing to do in this case is to avoid being physical with him unless sex is all you want (it will NOT, repeat NOT, lead to a relationship with a reluctant college guy), and keep your emotions out of it as much as possible. Sometimes the old "I was hurt in a previous relationship" line is just that -- a sob story that will keep you close and convenient, but still at arm's length.
Don't date him exclusively, and be open to meeting new people. Prepare for the reality that you two might just end up as friends, and keep your dignity and calm along the way. Good luck!

sounds like you both need to take a step back and evaluate what you both really want. cause right now it sounds like he was just into you for the sex and when it didn't happen he wanted to look else where. if thats not the case then you two need to sit down and have a one one talk about what you both want and if it will be with eachother. GOOD LUCK!!

Okay, if he is man enough, he would make him his damn mind already. It's okay to not want to be hurt, but it's not right to put you in this ambiguous situation either. Have you ever asked him if he love you? Most importantly, do you love him? I think both of you guys should get your thoughts together....especially him =) Good luck! <3

probably disappointed when he didn't get the sex. forget about him for the moment. let him realize what he really wants. and find out for yourself if you really like to be with him.
