because people are stupid and everyone has to manufacture reasons why they are better than someone else. There is no end to the divisions,labels, differences that set eachother apart. I think the only way people will come together is if we are threatened by an alien race that wants to take over our planet. Something really drastic like that.

imagine how boring the world would be if all we ever did was smile at each other. we neep opposites to keep this world interesting. without hate we'd never really understand what love is, without sadness happiness would have no essence, without war, peace would be taken for granted and so on. the problem is people end up taking things a little overboard, thats why theres so much hate etc etc.
