iam buying bullets for my friend for christmas and i think he said he has a ruger p35. what kind of bullets does that take, what caliber

I've never seen a P35. They make a P345 that's a .45acp. They also have a P85 and P95 that are 9mm. They don't have a P35 listed on their site as in current production. Maybe you would be better off buying a gift certificate from a local sporting goods store since bullets come in many weights and different types for each caliber. (hollow points, soft-points, etc)

Ruger P35 is a .45acp caliber.

you can just go to a gun store and ask for the bullets for a p35
