Nope. You need to be lost to need to be saved. God is smart enough to have a plan for everyone to get safely back home to heaven.

If you God isn't I feel sorry for you.

My own view of "salvation" is being aloud to stay here on this planet and make my way in the process of life living through my mistakes and having another chance. That's salvation to me.

I take it you're referring to the Forgive me for I have sinned type. No, but if I did I could get away with just about anything because salvation would always be available to me, or so they say. I guess it's just as well most people have a conscience.

I believe Jesus Christ died and shed His blood and took the punishment for me. That grace or unmerited favor was given me by faith...my believing Jesus did it to save a sinner like me. My salvation is only by the finished work of Jesus and not anything I could do on my own. It is a gift of God and not of works...and it free to all who come to Him.

I wish I could say yes for sure. But, I don't know. Maybe. But, those who go around saying smugly that they have been saved... I don't believe they're any more saved than I. They still have to prove themselves until death. I can't stand self righteousness. I believe that's a sin in itself. I do believe in Karma.

Salvation is attained by faith, love, forgiveness, and the belief that God's son, Jesus Christ, died for you and I to live in God's eternal kingdom.
