Tell him and ask him how he feels about you. Men aren't all that sharp on womens guessing games, they usually end up confused and angry and then you end up hurt and then you both end up angry, so while you're playing, someone else just may come along with a serious agenda knowing that women outnumber men about 7 to 1 (at least men act like it) and have that brother out shopping for china patterns. You can play with him after you get him. Remember men are from Mars and have a different language than women. Men have a limited vocabulary and they are sports with friends, eating with friends, work, and sex. The only catagory that truly focuses on you is sex because he can do the rest with guys. If you aren't old enough for that then by all means have as much fun as possible. But if you are a consenting adult then believe me fun alone, unless you arrange to keep falling into his lap, won't work.

MOST men are not good with getting subtlety, i suggest directness and boldness. Iknow thats what you want to not do, but you stand a good chance it may go right over his head. try to have the fun anyways, maybe hes one of the smart ones. if so then try cards, small flowers, wear hot clothes around him provocative, tease him a bit but not too much, suggest a hot tub together and then go bare naked when you get in.

No offence to the guys in school(6th-10th) out there, but if you are in school guys are idiots. Seriously they are like blind. The guy i like doesn't take hints. I have asked for his #(got it) and i ask for hugs everytime i see him and he don't really care. Personally, be an aggrasive flirter with most guys. Like when you talk to them maybe touch them on the arm.(medium affect) Maybe if you are talking in a group make sure you stand next to him and make sure your arms are touching. Make sure he chatches your eye (like eyecontact)in class. This happened to me and it turned out we were staring at each other for like 10mins. Make sure when you talk to him you look in his eyes. This could posibly get you a bf. Hope this helps i need to finish my own process.
