For a sore throat, try popsicles. Not only will they coat your throat, but the cold will also temporarily numb it. Ice cream will work also, but only if you aren't congested (dairy makes phlegm worse). I would suggest some fresh air with a brisk walk for the headache, except you might have allergies rather than the flu (in which case, pollen filled air is bad). If you think it's allergies... close all the windows. And make sure your laptop is dusted, if you plan on passing out on in again. I can think of nothing for back pain, except maybe cursing at your back and telling it off. It won't really help the pain, but it might make you feel better. Just don't yell too loud, or your throat will get worse. Avoid too many pills. I don't know what you are taking, but please do not take more tylenol than recommended (everyone thinks they are safe, but they cause liver failure in high doses).

First: stay warm. Second: take Maalox. Third: drink warm liquids such as green tea. If you can not tolerate that, drink your favorite hot drink. Fourth: make sure you take some form of Zink such as Zicam. Fifth: an extra strength pain reliever. Sixth: and finally eat hot sup preferably hot chicken sup. You will find relief very quickly and expect your flu to be under control the following day.

Short of taking some NiQuil and going to bed, hardly anything to cure the flu. Take some Tylenol, lie down with a cold damp cloth on your forehead. Feel better soon. Merry Christmas.

U might have sinus problems. U should drink lots of water and get tylenol for flu symptoms or sinus headache medicine. Shower or something like that could help if it's steamy. Sleep helps a lot.

Oh I am sorry you are sick! Here: try taking aspirin. Then take a nap or doze off for a little bit. If those don't help avoid sounds, like tv or screaming! Try eating soup, or something you consider a comfort food! Basically just rest and eat well. Hope I helped!

Try cough medicine like Nyquil or Dayquil. If that isn't accessible, try to take some motrin and lay down for a while.

Take Theraflu and get plenty of rest; what helps me is drinking plenty of hot tea and eating chicken rice soup. Listen to soft music and sleep.
