I prefer Pillsbury Streudels over PopTarts because they are fresher, seem more like an actual homemade baked good, and have icing that is gooey, not crunchy and spackled with odd technicolor bits. In fact, one may choose not to add icing with Streudels, if he or she did not care for it, but not so with PopTarts, where it looks suspiciously like dried white glue. Streudels' crust is flaky and buttery, but PopTarts seem floury and a bit stale to me, no matter how new the box is. If you're still not convinced, do a test-tasting session -- your tastebuds won't lie about which they prefer ;-)

Those maple brown sugar pop tarts are awfully good cold, but toaster strudels are yummy warmed.
I guess I'll pick the strudels, cause they are flakey.

I don't care for either one...but if I had to choose it would be a raspberry pop-tart!
