I'm using Windows Media Player 9 and I can't copy my cds to the library. I put in my cd, press the copy from cd button, mark the songs I want, and then I press copy music. Once it copies 3% of the song, it stops and ejects the cd, it also says that an error has occured. It does it to all my cds and I don't have a clue why. Please help.

might be copy protection in the cds. try just loading them into your harddrive or desktop. redownloading might be a problem as ms has removed 9 for xp. but you can get 10 or wmp11 now for xp

The way I know it works is to use 'rip' . You 'll see the tab right next to burn. That should do it, then follow instructions on what you want to do next.
Or you can do the same with real player10, free download as well.

Your cd drive may be dirty, go to office depot and get a cleaner.

Hope this helps!
