Yes I can give you a few suggestions. First of all...concentrate on you and the way you are feling and try to relax your inner feelings...toi do this..I would suggest a very warm bath...with a lot of water in it..and sort of sink your body down into the water...so that you are almost immersed...take a huge towel and place it over your head and upper body and sindk down into the tub while having this huge towel over your head and hanging over your upper body....lay in tub like this being covered by that i mean your whole head is covered and upper back and chest all covered by this towel and start to breathe deeply and slowly and all the time you are doing this...think about releasing bad stuff poisons... bad karma...unpositive feelings...feelings of sadness... and puff them out of your body and let positive light and happiness and goodness flow into your body and feel your happness and joy to be alive and also feel the benefit of having your ancestors look after you and let them beome a part of your daily life like i have done..You will experience more of your life on a deeper level and you will become calmer....trust me... and your life will change for the better because you believe in where you came from instead of who you are now or who you have become....think back to where you came from and that will be youre staring pint in your life for recovery...I totally believe in what I am saying...and hope you can try this as it could open up many venues for you in your life and make a difference like it has for me. Good luck my friend...and God Speed... Light and Happiness and all the Good Things may come your way... Love Maureen

You have to alleviate the stress first before you can ease the physical exhaustion. You should try to walk or do aerobic exercise at least 30 min a day and more if you can. Exercise can make you feel energetic after you get used to it.

You can listen to 'relaxation tapes'. You can change matters that are within your control and realize you cannot change matters that are not within your control so you have to learn to drop them or shake them off.

Get plenty of rest and try to enjoy life a little and forget the problems for a while.

I know how you feel Sweetie. I've had a very stressful year trying to buy the older home we live in. My stress was so bad that I wound up with Shingles at Thanksgiving. I just had a talk with God and asked him to please take away some of my burdens. I know you won't believe this, but I worked 65 hours a week for 21 years. I never got up on Monday and said," Gee I have a 65 hour week ahead of me." I just took it one day at a time. When I went to bed at night my husband said a train could run across the foot of the bed and I would never hear it because I was so totally exhausted. I know I'm not giving you a solution to your question, but I do empathize with you. Just know that nothing last forever, not good times and not bad. I'll be praying for you and please just try to let it go.

I see a lot of good suggestions here. Let me tell you a few of my little tricks:

I concentrate on what I can do and don't fret about the rest. There is no point in it if I cannot change it.
A little gentle exercise will work wonders.
So will a good cup of tea. I recommend Tension Tamer from Celestial Seasonings: My husband is a worry-wart and has managed to give himself a number of stomach problems because of it, but the tea helps a lot.
And yes, a nice hot soaking bath and massage!

I hope that helps!

Yes, breathe. Yeah, take deep breaths in and take them deep until the tummy sticks out through the nose and hold for a moment and let out slowly through the mouth. Do this several times and through out each day take time to do this. We don't breath anymore and stress almost makes us hold our breath, it's bad. Now, take a hot bath and don't allow anything ot one to bother you. Get into Jammie's or comfort clothes and make a cup of tea , decaf or coco and sit in your favorite chair and sip it. Turn on the TV, no news, America's funniest videos or anything you think is funny. did you know that the Bible says that laughter is like medicine for the soul. That is powerful, when you think about it. It does release chemicals that make us feel better. so, a funny movie is great!!! I know you don't think you have time for you but, you have to take it and use it wisely. Don't let the world steal your peace. Just take it back...slowly breathe every time you think of it, read a good book or magazine article that isn't depressing.... allow time to feel what you need to feel then breathe and then make plans to laugh and relax. Also, take some vitamin and mineral supplements, make sure they have B complex, meaning several B vitamins in them. We use them up too fast under stress, and eat well. Don't forget or grab fast food, get food from a store deli that is pre made if you have to but not fast junk food. Drink lots of water too, we always forget that...it stresses us to be dehydrated too. Good luck. Love coming your way with peace attached!!!

A massage chair like I Joy, or going to a massage spa. I have an I Joy and it really works. Also even though it is expensive, I did the math on spa massages, including tip and it actually came out that the I Joy chair was cheaper in the end. Plus the privacy factor.

Take a day off, have a bath to relax muscles, treat yourself to a massage or something. Watch some funny DVD's, Get enough sleep - but not too much.
Hope this helps :)

Going for a spa sounds good. It'll relieve you from all of that tension. Then again you should reduce your work load. Cancel/postpone if you think a certain task is less of your priorities.

Try bathing with some essential oils. Try lavender and geranium oils, three drops each before bed. Or lavender and frankincense.
Try meditating, just move you mind's focus to your breath and the in and out of it or think something helpful with your breathing like "I'm OK" , "I'm strong".
