The acid in cranberry juice helps create an environment that bacteria are unable to thrive in and create infection. I think it's good for both.

Both, actually. It's a diuretic, which basically means it makes things work right. If its 100% (which it should be, only idiots drink less than that), it works for your urine system like fiber works for your, well, solid system.
Anything other than water is not what your body wants to drink, but if your going to move away from that, the next best thing is beer and 100% juice. Cranberry all the more so.
Supplement your water intake with cranberry juice, and you'll never wake up feeling better.

Cranberryhelps you bladder resist e.coli adhesion, which is the usual suspect in bladder infections. The problem is, most cranberry juice is only a small percentage of juice, and th rest is sugar water.
If you have probs with chronic infections try the pills.

If you feel that you have a beginning of a bladder infection, you should dring plenty of cranberry juice,it prevents the bacteria sticking to the bladder walls, therefore they will flushd out.
So,it is also good for preventing infection.

It's supposed to be good for kidney or bladder infections and it will help prevent those infections. You can get it with Splenda rather than sugar, which saves on calories you don't need.

Yes, just be sure to get it at an organtic store and not oceanspray or a commercial brand. There is a huge difference in real cranberry (no sugars etc) and this is the only one that truly works, Beware though it tastes awful, very tart and sour.

Cranberry juice is good for your bladder and urinary tract. However, it does have a lot of sugar.

Both. Considerring how it is beneficial to your urinary tract in general. Also, a few weeks ago I read an interesting article about how it might even be effective against e. coli, as in it somehow makes the bacterium take on a considerably more benign form.
