I like Avent; they're clearly marked and easy to clean; they come with several nipple-flow sizes for various needs (like for me, my daughter was born 5 wks preemie and had trouble learning how to nurse, so to encourage her to nurse we put the slowest-flowing nipple on the bottle to simulate the way milk flows while breastfeeding). You can get the ones with drop-in liners or just the regular bottles. The ones that use liners are supposed to be better because they're always sterile and fresh (since you use a new one each time), but it's just as easy for me to spray a bit of bleach-based cleaner into the bottle along with a drop of dish liquid and scrub it with a bottle brush. (And rinse it thoroughly, of course.) My six-month-old daughter has never gotten sick from using these bottles. And plus, they're not too expensive! :) Good luck.

I used the playtex nursing system with the plastic insert that was sterile and the nipple was a more natural shape and easier for the infant to latch on to. Also you can express all of the air out of the bottle so the baby doesn't get so much air in their stomach. To warm the bottle just set it in a container of fairly hot water for a short time.

I really really liked Playtex Vent Air, Natural Shape bottles. When your baby is older its easy to put 4 scoops of formula in it for an 8 oz. bottle. . . . some tall skinny bottles don't do this as well.

But each child is different, but I had excellent results with

For a breastfeeding mom I suggest using the Playtex nursers as they are closer to moms nipples or even Avent bottles are good too. Good luck.

I liked Avent bottles. I nursed and I found when my husband would feed her these bottles were great. There was very little bubbles and she didn't get gas with them.
