I am not too big on Cognac, but I did work in a liquor store for awhile and Hennessy would get about a 7. You really don't need to go for the XO, their VSOP is just as good. If you are looking for a smoother taste, I would suggest Calavados. It is an apple brandy, but it will drive your taste buds mad.

Personally I thought the Courvoisier VSOP was better than the Hennessey.
I would still give it an 8.

mostly alot of black people would rate this at 10 and me being black its my favorite so i say its a 10. about 25% of white people like it
