Make him read this!

In a year or so you will be done with Pharmacy school, making tons of dough. Even if you are an ugly dude like me, you will get PLENTY of women! Trust me. She dumped you, so have a beer, cry your eyes out, and make it good.

Starting tomorrow you won't shed any more tears over her. Study hard, gut out your clinical rotations, and in the words of Larry the Cable Guy "Git 'er done".

A year from now, all the guys will wish they were you.

Tell him that in the human animal world, men do the offering and women do the choosing. Men attempt to offer all the assets that they think women will accept from them, things like a healthy body, a sense of humor, intelligence, money, etc. Then women, depending on their needs (either physical, emotional, material, etc.) will choose the man that best fits their need. Unfortunately for guys, when a woman chooses a man over them, they feel a primal sensation that they have been picked out of the gene pool by someone superior to them. This is not necessarily the case, oftentimes the woman does not know what she is looking for, meaning that the man did not get picked out of the gene pool, but the woman decided to reduce the quality of the gene pool by picking a more inferior sample of masculinity. I hope his scientific mind enjoys this, it works for most smart guys. Give him a hug too.

Hmm...sounds familiar to me, except for the pharmacy school. There's really nothing you can say to him that'll fix anything. The only thing to say to help him realize the truth is "She wasn't who you thought. I'm sorry this happened to you." I'm not sure if anyone said that to me, but I wish they had if not. Probably would've saved me a lot of grief. "Some women throw a such a curve they'll hit you in the head, and sometimes that'll only make them laugh. The only solutions are to find another pitcher or to quit batting." If you want to step up to the plate, let him know but don't try to rush anything. In fact, just get him to go out and have fun. Sitting alone makes it worse.

Dont make a move yet. Just be a shoulder for him to cry on and in time he may think of you in that way. But it has to be his idea.

Someone in this situation needs sympathetic ears and someone to tell him that everything is going to be all right. If you like him, go out with him.

don't rush in to fast, just be there for him when he wants to tall or need someone to lean on.. start doing things to let him know that you want him but you must let him get some of her out of his system..and when you do get him rock his world, go for his mind, stimilate his brains and you'll get him ..
