SHe was infected with MRSA after a lung surgery for an abcsess lung after having phenomnia. She went through a surgery were they cut out the infected tissue under and around her breast and armpit. She now has a wound vac in the wound. It has been in for 3 days now....The doctors don't say much or do we really see them cause of visiting hours in the ICU...Does anyone know if this is deadly or know much about this??

oh yes Mrsa is very deadly it is a staph infection and very hard to get rid of it i had it for a long time she needs to be on a high does of antibiotics to get rid of if not it will get in her blood and can kill her let me tell u mrsa is a infection that has be treated by a certain antibiotic mrsa is a resents to Lot of antibiotic so it will be hard to find one that will acutely work to fight it and make it go away good luck look up mrsa and read bout it it will tell you allot if this doctor wont do any thing for it please find her a better doctor

MRSA in the lungs can be VERY dangerous and can be deadly.
