It violates the the 1st & 2nd Laws of thermodynamics, Biogenesis and cause and effect

Evolutionist scientists are also aware of this fact. J. H. Rush states:

In the complex course of its evolution, life exhibits a remarkable contrast to the tendency expressed in the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Where the Second Law expresses an irreversible progression toward increased entropy and disorder, life evolves continually higher levels of order.365

The evolutionist author Roger Lewin expresses the thermodynamic impasse of evolution in an article in Science:

One problem biologists have faced is the apparent contradiction by evolution of the second law of thermodynamics. Systems should decay through time, giving less, not more, order.366

David Pilbeam, a Harvard University paleoanthropologist, says:

If you brought in a smart scientist from another discipline and showed him the meagre evidence we've got he'd surely say, "forget it; there isn't enough to go on."181

I believe in evolution and creation as they are perfectly compatible.

Creationists who are exclusive about it, tend to believe in a perfect creation, so wouldn't everything fit together then?

Meaning your reasoning here is circular.

I beleive,as do many Christian theologians, of which I am one, that God set forth the events that evolved. In other words. God created the heavens and the earth, but used methods that do not contradict science at all, but in fact compliment it.

7 days= 7 creationary periods, etc etc.

For the simpler people of biblical times, days was an illustration.

God wants us to be curious and inquisitive ad therefore the bible can serve both the less so and the more so and well too.

Really we need not be at odds as aChristian people about this.

God Bless and Have a Merry Christmas!

You are incorrect in thinking a system cannot gain order (decrease in entropy). A system can decrease in entropy, however, when a change to a system is made, the entropy of the universe must either stay the same, or increase. So only the entropy of the universe cannot decrease.

Plutonium decays overtime to form a more stable system, as do many other things in nature. In fact when something loses energy it's typically to get to a more stable state in which there is more order. Again, this is not a violation of any law of thermodynamics.

And then we must consider the alternative which you imply. Should not thermodynamics apply to God?

Lol. You are funny. Obviously you don't know the first law of thermondynamics. It has nothing to do with evolution at all. Evolution is related to mutations.

Sure there are holes in evolution. I mean, history only lasts at most 6 thousand years. We have fragments of a past, that based on some various methods, we believe to be measure in hundreds of millions of years. The probability of an individual animal becoming a fossil is very small.

Anne Coulture pointed out that for example, it we've never seen a bacteria mutate to anything "other" than a bacteria. What she missed was the amount of time and likelihood of an extreme mutation from happening.

So far given the evidence we have, which is alot until you consider how much evidence we are missing, evolution is the only viable theory we have. Obviously, in terms of the details, there are tons of subtheories some of which have been refuted over the years.

We definately have observed things like bacteria evolving immunities to anti-biotics.

Said like someone who doesn't have a clue what science actually says.

1. Evolution doesn't speak of any of those. What it speaks of is the change in living creatures over time by process of slow mutation to eventually become other species.

2. What YOU are talking about is the Big Bang. Get your concepts right and maybe we can talk more because your bad education is showing.

3. I don't know where you get the idea that Evolution contradicts any of those things. As for the Big Bang, it doesn't contradict the 2nd law of Thermodynamics because the 2nd law ONLY applies to closed systems.

4. As for the others, Biogensis only applies to already living things. So, in that it applies to evolution, well you're already living aren't you? You're only showing your lack of education.

5. I'm not sure how you think evolution has a problem with the 1st law of thermodynamics or cause and effect.

6. Its always wonderful watching scientists ignore fact like the 2ND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS ONLY APPLIES TO CLOSED SYSTEMS. Thats just completely disgusting and they should be ashamed. Or maybe they're Christians trying desperately to prove their bible correct, like you.

Lets placed something immediately first. PURE Science and PURE Religion don't contradict each and every different Evolution is a Scientific THEORY it's NOT Pure Science. God has Created Rules and follows them. God is Logical he does now not contradict himself. There is simplest ONE True Religion. Evolution is a conception that every one residing creatures developed from a few a traditional evolutionary ancestor. Evolution additionally states that this creature developed from rocks and rain. the opposite steps are animals and crops - unmarried celled organism - prehistoric telephone and mitocondria and chloroplasts - ooze that comprises constructing blocks of existence - rocks and acid rain - lava and gases from volcanoes. that's what unpure-technological know-how claims you developed from Evolutionary Theory is also lacking too many portions to make a unique map or photo. like creating a puzzle with simplest zero.a million% to a million% of the portions. does not paintings interval. and in view that faith offers the one different choice i'm going to ought to cross with the notion that we ARE created by means of God. in the end how does a quatinary organic programing language (DNA) that works truthfully come into existance accidentally. there may be an excessive amount of order within the universe for it to have simply occurred.

evolution doesn't violate the 1st or 2nd law of thermodynamics. This is a crappy argument someone came up with. but the problem is those laws apply to closed systems, which the earth is not. So those quotes are either wrong, out of context, or those are the stupidist scientists of all time

My friend, it all fits together, like an immaculate, woven fabric. Have you ever researched the subject with even a slightly open mind? Have you ever studied the structure and behavior of the atom (not Adam)? How about the interaction between subatomic particles, DNA and cosmic radiation?

What's so hard about the concept that God created the process of evolution? I'm the son of a Lutheran Pastor, and even I got it at an early age.

Your brainless cut and paste lies are feeble.

The first and second laws of thermodynamics apply to closed systems. The Earth receives an enormous input of solar energy. Points refuted for the thousandth time.

The quotes mined in the article are out of context. Lewin said "apparent contradiction" and went on to discuss the answer. The next sentence starts, "One legitimate response...".

The Pilbeam quote was to Leakey in 1977, not long after Lucy was discovered, and was in regard to the australopithecine finds, not evolution in general.

Just keep the lies coming. I'm here to shoot them down.

Evolution has problems, but thermodynamics is not one of them. I wish creationists would stop using that outdated argument. Things can become more complex for sure (ie. we used to have Windows 1.0 and now we have XP, and there’s another more complex operating system about to be released and I can’t wait to get it).

Evolution comes in handy, as a belief, because it goes counter to there being any kind of intelligent design. This is why they try SO hard to explain, and come up with new reasons why it has to be so. There just cannot be a god to them, bottom line. Sad that it is so obvious to everyone else that they are doing this. I hold out hope for them though, they are smart, lots of them, and thinking it through, with and honest mind, can do wonders. Keep seeking truth, nothing else matters.
Funny that you mention smart scientists.....did you know, that true good science, and what it uncovers, points SO much more to intelligent design, than to evolution? It is causing many of them to panic. I would encourage them though, that there is a good side to things, even if they were proven wrong....there is a plan that has their best interest in mind, not harm. There is nothing to fear, but there is a huge battle for the truth.
