I lost mine at 21 and I think it was a good time to do it. But I do think now that I wish I'd waited until marriage.

For Males an average age is 14 or 15 and for a Female an average age is 16.

I say when you're ready to have kids and you are SURE you'll be able to take care of them.
Not ALL contraceptives (AKA Birth Control Methods) are 100% proof Positive. Unplanned pregnancies do happen
OR When you feel that you can handle STDs should they arise.
I may sound cynical, but I know TOO MANY people who lost their virginity for all the wrong reasons and have ended up in the type of situations that I have just mentioned above.

I dont know if any age is normal. It truly depends on your moral compass and religion (if religious at all). I was 16 and that was too young now that I look back. Just remember that it is not to be taken lightly, and should be with someone you are IN love with and not a one night stand or a b/f of only a little while.

There is no standard age. Many kids start experimenting with sex as young as 13.

im 13 and i plan to New Years Eve...but also we really love each other and plan to stay that way. Dont do it for popularity or too get back at someone do it because its something people give up ( or for the guys get) for someone they love.
