He's 5? Yea...it's about time he learn the truth. Tell him Santas really just some fat prick that doesn't really exsist and he's only a make believe tool that's used to bride bad little kiddies and to keep their asses in line in November & December.

I didn't realize the easter bunny and the tooth fairy got murdered in their sleep by the jews. Isn't that just your lie covering up a lie? Just what "truth" will you be telling your kid about Santa? Perhaps you will use some other religious group and blame his "sleeping death" on them too??? Don't you think that's lame on your part?
I always told the kids that if they didn't believe in Santa, they wouldn't get any more presents from him. They always decided it was best to believe.

I hope that you are kidding about the tooth fairy and easter bunny deal!!! I have a 9 yr old daughter and I have found that I don't have to tell my daughter that Santa is not real. Her school mates will do that eventually. In fact, they have already started. As long as she believes, that just makes her childhood special a little while longer. Who knows...she may just be playing along for my benefit but I don't feel that I have to sit her down and tell her the truth. This is a "white lie" that will not harm her.

Let them decide. When they approach you and ask "Is there a Santa?" Ask them why they are in doubt- most likely a school mate told them. If that is the case, tell them the truth. My 9 year old daughter still believes and I'm happy because I enjoy seeing the light in her eyes when she speaks of Santa.

I don't think you should tell them let them find out on their own. There arn't many secrets in life and someday they will be happy you didn't tell them. I regret now when I told my little cousins santa wasn't real. Let some kid in school tell them and if they question it tell them the truth.

YOu really must be kidding., Correct that story blaming the Jews immediately. If you refuse, you will have a future terrorist on your hands. Teach love, not hate.

My son is 9 and still believes in Santa. He went interstate to spend time with his father for xmas and santa made an early visit to our place and is still going to visit at his father. Don't tell him. My son says if he dosen't believe in santa, he dosen't come. Hopefully I will have one more year.

No way! Don't tell them until they ask you about it. You don't just want to ruin it like that. Let them get older and start to get the full impact of Santa.
