i own a shop, and the newer model Toyota corolla or the celica gt is a real nice ride to have,,and you can find them all over the place right now and the price of them is pretty good also, you might just want to go out and look around,,right now is a good time to buy any car,the new year is coming up,and all dealers want to clear them off the lots,,good luck, hope you find one,,have a good x-mas.

I strongly suggest you buy a Japanese Car. Hondas are very stypish, and very sportsy. They are economical and yet with enough power to get past many cars around.
I insist that you buy Japanese car because they have the best reliability and least break down. If the price was relatively higher than others, you will be saving on fuel and repairs.
(Toyota's are the most reliable ones)
Good luck !!

Toyota Celica, Nissan Sentra, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Honda Civic, basically anything Japanese. Steer clear of European and American (unless you are buying relatively new). Note: you should expect that any type of "sporty" car is probably going cost more, get worse gas mileage, and be more abused than a "typical" car.

The Dodge Stratus is a nice economical car that runs inexpensively as well. Theft rate is low and thus so are
