My understanding is that according to the scriptures, on the day of pentecost, the holy spirit came and allowed the apostles to speak in different tongues. One of the witnesses said, how can they speak in languages that we can understand?
Therefore, my understanding is that the 'gift' was the ability for the apostles to speak different languages on that important of days.

No. First you'd have to prove the existence of such a spirit. Other than that, you may as well ask if anyone believes in gifts from leprechauns. (You'll still probably get YES answers here!).

No. The HS has apparently confused the whole Christian community since there’s 253,638 Christian denominations and they each believe they’re right because only they have the gift of the HS.
