Damask sheets in white or cream are classy.
For the ultimate in comfort and great looks for either gender, buy a good-quality high thread count sheet set. I always buy 400 thread count or higher, and I've gotten so spoiled, I can hardly sleep on anything else.
My favorite place to buy my luxury sheets is the Tuesday Morning store. I watch for new shipments, specials, and clearance sales.
With careful shopping, my linens cost no more than sets purchased at department stores. And mine are much more luxurious!
I think the sheet sets with the contrasting piping on hems and pillowcases are handsome and masculine, depending on the color-combo. For example, cream sheets with brown piping or white with navy blue are very smart and good-looking.

Damask sheets can fit either gender depending on color, thread count and the gender of the room. White, ivory, blues can be either gender while browns, copper and dark blues are masculine as rose, sage and violet are more feminine. Be careful when choosing colors because brown paired with pink or purple will be feminine while black paired with a deep purple will be masculine.
Hope this helps!
