We (humans) have been eating the flesh of dead animals for as long as we have been able to hunt. Tens of thousands of years. Our ancestors, the "cavemen" if you will, figured out how to fashion weapons such as spears and were able to kill other animals for food.

How did they get the idea? Probably from watching other wild animals killing each other for food. If they can do it, why can't we?

The days of cavemen. I don't know how people realized they could cook animals. If you look at the structure of the human mouth it is actually designed like a herbivore (vegetarian). Even herbivore's have canine teeth. But the rest of are mouths are designed for mashing veggies. They probably intially did it for the fur but then realized they could use the whole animal for sustinance even in the winter when crops didn't grow but im just guessing.

Animals in nature eat others for meat, right? Humans evolved from animals. Not only that, but meat tastes awesome.

Look at the two pointed teeth in the front of your mouth. They are not called canine teeth for nothing.
