Is it true that a guy or girl has to get parental permission to date someone, if they are under-18?

If that was true, how do you explain all the teenage pregnancies with girls 13,14,15,16 giving birth?

I don't think there's a law but it's good to know if your parents will let you date or not. That way you know if you are going to get into trouble. They'll probably give you a talk but then you'll know your responsibilities and be able to go out.

no, I'm sure the parents would like that , but no you don't have to ask. could you imagine, none of us would ever have been allowed out if it was based on parental approval.

its definatly a good idea so you don't run into problems later on. parents need to feel they can trust their kids.
