How about pizza rolls?

Depends on the kind of ocassion. If it's a casual get together, get some pizza with a vegtable plate and something like chocolate for dessert. If it's more formal, go with salmon and pasta like that dude up there^ said.

For something easy and adventurous:
Shepherd's Pie
1 lb. ground beef (browned)
1 can vegetable soup
approx 3 cups mashed potatoes
1 cup shredded colby cheese
pinch of thyme
Mix beef, soup, and thyme in baking dish. Cover completely with mashed potatoes, then sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until potatoes turn light brown.

A little more trouble (but will have them bowing to you):
Chicken Valentino
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 red pepper
1 bunch green onions
1-2 cup bag italian shredded cheese
Italian seasoning
toothpicks

Cut pepper and white part of onion and saute in butter. Chop green part of onion for scallions and set aside. Butterfly chicken breasts and fill with onion and pepper mixture. Top with italian cheese and a sprinkle of italian seasoning. Fold breast closed using toothpick to secure. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Top with scallions and serve. (I serve with oven roasted red potatoes as a side dish-make a "pocket" out of foil, hack up some potatoes, throw in some butter and spices and bake.)

I would make some baked chicken, either a whole one or parts, sprinkle with Lawry's seasoned salt and dried rosemary, bake at 350 for 60-90 minutes. Really good flavor and really nice crispy skin. Serve with a green salad with whatever veggies you like in it, and some hot buttered egg noodles. Hot fudge sundaes for dessert! (Not a lo-fat meal!)

I like the roasted chickens from Safeway. They taste just like home cooked and are already hot! You can also get frozen lasagna that tastes really good too...only takes about an hour to cook and just get a bag of Caesar salad to go with it....those come with the dressing in the bag and everything....looks like you slaved over the stove for hours!!!!!!!
