I had it done 5 years ago.Best money I ever spent. The main side effect is that you are permanently farsighted, so you need reading glasses for close work. All other situations, you're golden. Occasionally you will notice some dry eye. Lubricating eye drops do the trick. If your doctor treats an area smaller than your pupil at full dilation, you can have some halos at night from lights. Just make sure he doesn't. Women's eyes dilate more than Men's, young people more than older people.
