There are so many airlines that go out of business and ones merging..why would you want to be in a business that is not stable? Pick another one...

1. They speak Portuguese in Brazil, not Spanish.

2. International flight attendants generally work their way up from the domestic routes. First get hired by an airline that flies where you want to go. Maybe you could be a US-based flight attendant for a Brazilian airline. Check with those companies on their requirements.

I am not a flight attendant, but know many. You seem to be a perfect candidate for international routes. You may be more likely to get the international sooner if you pay your dues as a first/business class attendant. This means that you might have to work for such small airlines as Comair for a little while, and then move on to Delta. Your language will help a lot, as you will serve many international, non-English speaking customers.

I would suggest that you visit this website http://www.airlinecareer.com/ they have ton of information on becoming a flight attendant you will probably be able to get all of your questions answered there! Also remember airlines are not the only aircraft that have flight attendants you may want to look into working for a charter company as well as they take many international flights.

If you are so particular about the job, you can try your luck with the domestic airlines. Otherwise you learn the foreign languages like Spanish, French and any other oriental language, you would be considered for the job unless you comply with the other conditions for appointment. Good luck!
