A man pointed out that the first thing Jesus did
in his ministry, was challenge the religious leaders and
teachings of his day.
He said "All men teach for doctrine are the commandments of men, and they knowing nothing about the weightier matters of the Law, like Judgement and Mercy."
He would tell them about thier "rules" about how you have
to be Baptized in water, and have to be saved, and
have to be born again.
He would tell them about the Baptism of Fire, and the
Heart. That Christ saved us on the Cross, and you do not have to bow down to no "man" to be saved. Just accept it in your heart. He would tell them Jesus said when you are born of flesh you are 'flesh". And when you are born
of Spirit, you are "spirit!"
And he would tell them God looks past the few they save, to those they turned away. Then the Church would have him assassinated!

I think that if there was a prophet on the earth today, I think that he would not even bother with any government because they are obviously all corrupt. I think they would get to the heart of the people. A true prophet would serve the people. Service is the way to teach people goodness. I suppose though that he would get pissed off at the general population, because prophets can see what is coming, and they have no control over it. I think that it would be both the most frustrating and the most interesting job in the world.

I am sorry to say that no one would take that person seriously. Jim Jones and David Koresh would come to mind. The person would have a few followers but would not be accepted as a prophet by mainstream Christians.

With all the scandal that has recently been brewing in the Church, I would say that a prophet would repeat this:
"For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. And if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who refuse to obey the gospel of God?" (I Peter 4:17)

i assume he would reitereate the true church found in the bible and how it should be run. i believe it to be the catholic church(roman). he would show us the importance of the church and maybe would add to the letters and acts of the new testament. in these books we see the church leaders correct wrong teachings and unifying the churches and teachings as they should be. he would show the church the errors it has made and how to rectify them and bring us all into communion and unity. this is ofcourse hypothetical but if it were to happen i would assume it would be something like that, christians may end up going through trials and tribulations to smoe degree at this point if it were to happen.

There is no need for a prophet because Jesus fulfilled prophecies. That's why all that claim to be prophets, such as Muhammad, are false and deceiving. You should beware of them.
Merry Christmas and God Bless you.

He would say, "I'm a Jew." And the government wouldn't kill him. Also because he's Jackie Mason and he's funny. And the so-called Christians would freak when they found out they'd been doing everything wrong and screwed up big time. Then, the Gov't would kill THEM. Jeez. Now I'm bummed.
Actually, like so many others wandering around babbling religious babble, they would just let him...or her...go on their way. Whaddya think this is? 300 B.C.E.?

He would, and has (President Hinckley) told the world that the family is integral to salvation, that pornography, drugs, and adulterous lifestyles are detrimental to the happiness of man and that belief on the Lord Jesus Christ, repentance for the remission of sins, and baptism by authorized priesthood holders is required to gain admission to the kingdoms of God.

I think he would tell us to make ready for the coming of the Lord. I am by no means a bible scholar, but to the best of my understanding all bible prophecy has already taken place except for the return of Jesus.
