I am currently living with my BF of about 2.5 years and we are at a stage where we are really comfortable with each other but I am not sure how I feel about him anymore. I care about him because we've been together for so long but then I am not sure that I passionately love him anymore. I know that those feelings tend to fade but just how much do they fade anyway before its not love anymore? Also I am not sure if he is the right guy for me after all this time. He treats me very well and there are a lot of great things about him, but I just don't have that spark for him anymore. To make matters worse a guy friend of mine is moving back to my hometown soon (I'd LOVE to move back there too within a year just b/c my whole family is there) and I have recently developed a very big crush on him and I am fairly certain the feelings are returned. What do I do? My BF is probably going off to grad school this summer so I have until then to really decide. Thanks for your thoughts...

that's why you should not move in with someone without a commtiment. Love is not a warm fuzzy feeling, it's a commitment you make. Do you bf a favor and move on--he'll find someone who is not afraid of a commitment and hopefully next time around both of you will be mature enough to do things in the proper order.

why then wait so long to tell him that you not sure about how you feel about him, breaking his hurt today is better than tomorrow.

let him know so he can deal with it and at least find someone who will love him and have the same spark as him and most of share the same feelings.

tell him how you feel. i mean you shouldnt lead him on and make matters worse. you might not want to tell him about your feelings for another guy. but tell him that your love has faded. dont hurt him anymore than he honestly needs to be.

good luck!

You are feeling this way towards your b/f because of an old flame it happens to all of us but don't give up on something you have for something that could be.
