kinda looks lilk a staff sgt. badge with a cap. t under it just like this <<

Here you go.
Its not an infantry badge. IT's a Rank Insignia
there are two with three cheverons and the T. the second one also has a rockerbar underneath the T.

Never heard of that, unless you are referring to the Combat Infantry Badge, but it doesn't look like what you described.

Probably stood for Technical sergeant.
