We recently found out that my niece had lice. Her mom of course treated her for it, but now I am paranoid that I might have it. My head doesnt itch or anything, and as far as I can tell it doesnt seem like anything is present in my hair. However, I dont really know what I am looking for. Would it hurt anything to simply go ahead and use the shampoo to be on the safe side? What should I do???

use the shampoo, just incase, but if you do have lice you would be looking for:
*itchy scalp
*white stuff in your hair (looks like dandruff)
Also u can go to a Wallgreens or Rite Aid or CVS or any type of pharmacy near you and get a "lice brush" when u get back home, bush your hair with it, if there are little bugs in it, then you have lice, if not, just keep using the shampoo for a few more days, just to be sure.

My kids got it and the shampoo was useless. The lice are resistant. If you're not itchy, chances are you're OK. If you're really worried, get a plastic shower cap and (I'm not kidding), slather your head in mayonnaise overnight. Disgusting, yes, but it smothers the lice. Ask someone who loves you to pick through your scalp looking for nits.
Nasty business, but you can beat it. Good luck.

If you hadnt had them by now, then you may not get them. Using the shampoo wont hurt anything so if it will really make you feel better then go ahead.
