Here is my question, I have a Maryland driver's license. I got pulled over in Virginia and got charged with reckless driving. Went to court today, and got my license suspended, now they paper says that I am not allowed to drive my car in Virginia, so does that mean I can drive in any other state? Also, what is the process of getting my driver's license reinstated? Do I go through the Virginia DMV or the Maryland DMV?

You do not have a license to drive period. No way no where no how. You will have to go through the state you are licensed to drive in or wherever you are living when you are able to apply for a license again. Surely you were given a time limit for the suspension? You should have had a lawyer but, reckless driving is more and more a problem. If you have other violations you are in bigger troubnle, you don't say anything about that.Driving like that kills people and not always the driver but other innocent people. So, be thankful you were caught before that happened and this is a lesson you will not forget, hopefully. You may be able to get a waiver to drive to work if you have to. Depending on the laws, your record, your situation and possibly with the help of a lawyer which will cost you. Sorry, but the law is what it is for a reason. Good luck and lessons learned the hard way are usually lifetime lessons.
