From an online article:
Energy drinks may cause serious long and short term effects. Drinks such as Adrenaline, Red Bull, and Venom have high doses of caffeine, some as much as 80mg per serving which doesn't sound like much but most energy drinks consist of two or more servings per can. Caffeine mixed with B vitamins, ginseng, guarana, and ephedrine can cause more than just a boost of energy. The ingredients in these drinks can cause irregular heart beats and boost blood pressure.

Personally, I think you're going way over the top with this energy drink thing. They're all the same, with different artifical flavors.

Rashid, what the hell is the point in your existence? Either way, Energy drinks usually contain a tonne of sugar, especially the cheaper no brand energy drinks. I think 1 a day is pretty much tolerable, but even then you're consuming a lot of sugar, in excess of what you should be. If you exercise regularly this shouldn't be a problem, if you don't, just cut back a little, it all helps.

Drinking anything not in moderation is bad for you, even water... These drinks are high in sugars which is the main reason you have the energy. If you want something to boost you up and give you a high metabolism with lots of vitamins and minerals drink green tea with sugar in the raw (yes higher in calories than splenda and that crap) but it is much safer and not full of poisons!

1 - if you want a good tasting one, i think redbull is best.
2- thats a hell of a lot of caffeine. you can either get addcited if you do it often, or cause a heart attack(your heart rate will go thru the roof)
3 - if you buy budweiser E (sold at supermarkets), those contain alcohol in them and taste great. you will be drunk, yet hyped up. its a great drunk ive only done once cuz of the risks involved.
but its not a good idea
something bad can happen
better stick to your MJ

Recently read that there is the equivalent of 9-10 teaspoons of sugar in a regular (500-ish ml) bottle of Lucozade!

The problem with most energy drinks is they are full of caffeine and sugar. These are short lived.
