Lie on your kitchen floor.
Knees up.
Feet up under the bottom edge of your kitchen cabinet.
Hands across your upper chest.
RAISE your upper back 1/4 up off the floor.
HOLD for 20 seconds.
FEEL your abs shake.
Do not go higher up, your sides and back muscles are then holding you up. Test; go up higher, your abs stop shaking.
Do not put your hands behind your head. Then you are pulling yourself up.
Do every OTHER day.

what worked best for me was boxing or using a punching bag, and cross country skiing. i found crunches and sit ups were hurting my lower back, and i wasnt getting very good results from them. and remember, even if your abs are super toned and ripped, you wont be able to see them if theyre covered with a layer of fat. so its important to do a lot of arobic activities that work your abs plus burn fat too. another good activity is rowing.
