Parents have a way of finding these things out, unless of course they are deaf, dumb, and blind and/or in a coma.

Being upfront and honest with your parents will pay off in the end. It's all about trust. If they can't trust you to follow their rules now, they are going to keep those rules and probably heap more on their to try to "control" you. If, however, you are honest, open, and willing to discuss things rationally, compromise, and keep YOUR part of the deal, things will be MUCH easier for you in the future. You'll be given more privileges, more trust, and more freedom. It's worth it.

How old are you? Really depends on your age and guess what who you date is always an issue too. I'll assume your female and trust me no man will ever be good enough, he'll always worry. I am 35 and married and my dad STILL worries about me emails me atleast once a week to see how things are going and lets me know that if I ever need to come "home" there is more then enough room for me and my 2 kids. Don't do it behind his back he'll find out then it will be a trust issue
