Recently I have been trying to "up" my image, I guess. If any of you could offer me CONTRSUCTIVE criticism, please do so.

It would be helpful if you could provide a pic of you without the glasses too but here's my advice:
If your going to wear the glasses everyday get some smaller frames but in the same style like these http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/eyeglasses_1925_41734178. Then maybe you should go for some mod bangs. Darken the hair color a bit- stay with as much of a natural color as you can, but just neutralize the dull color or streaks (like say just go for a nice rich all over dk brown clost to your natural color).
You are such a cute girl, and you don't have to over-do it with the makeup. For daily wear (and when wearing your glasses) go for a natural eye shade,, maybe a darker shadow in the crease to intensify the hallow of your lids under your brow bone. Use some lengthening mascara on your lashes- *my secret is that I use the clear mascara from covergirl to give my lashed the separated "wet" look and then I put a nice dark lengthening mascara on top of it so my lashes are nice and long not clumped together. Liquid black liner on the top lashes ONLY will give you a bit of a mod look and that goes will with our type of glasses.
For the lips use clear gloss or a neutral/pinkish frost.(the kind that is a little pinker than your skin color) with a gloss on top of it. Victoria secret has some nice lip gloss in different flavors- any of the pinky-clear or orangey-clear ones are great!
Use a bronzer on your cheeks, bridge of the nose and temples to give you a sunkissed shimmer.
These are tips just to excentuate your features, and not to "change" your look. Anything else is just mental. If you know you are doing your best to put your best face forward then that confidence is an attraction all on its own. Again, I think you are pretty and you have such a nice smile. Don't lose yourself under cosmetics. :)

I think smaller frames for the glasses or contacts to open up the eyes, for the hair get Carmel or honey colored highlights and a nice long layered cut.

i think you're pretty! but,if you really want a change (for YOURSELF!!) and you want some advice then here ya go:
i would just get a more modern haircut, maybe some highlights and if you don't like wearing contacts..try some glasses that aren't so heavy.

The fundamentals of your features are very good. cutting down the black on the rims would help. also doing something with the hair would be cool too. ever considered shoulder length?
