So I love to put a pile of ketchup on the side with salt and pepper, my kids prefer to squeeze it all over the fries. What do you like?

I like it on the side. If you put it all over, the fries get soggier faster. Plus, off on the side lets me put exactly as much ketchup as I want on it. When you squirt all over, the top layer gets a lot of ketchup, but the bottom layers get barely any.

I love them drowned in ketchup topped with salt. The saturation of the ketchup and salt makes the fries taste even better.

As an adult, ketchup on the side... plus I mix in a little mustard.
When I was a child, on top of the fries.

I like both it just depends on where the fries are from . I also like ranch or 1000 island with ketchup

i like my ketchup on the side, but i usually don't eat french fries with ketchup, but im a huge potato fan =]

i like keptchup on the side of the plate unless they are cheesy fries then you have the ketchup all over

I like ketchup all over them with loads of vinegar or if Im back home in Maine I love topping them with gravy and cheese.

i love somewhat ketchup with my fries in certain circumstances, yet slathering some thing with ketchup is rediculous. My brother slathers each little thing with ketchup. that's like, "do you want some fries with your ketchup?" If he likes it a lot, why not make ketchup soup and drink it? each from time to time it offends me when I practice dinner.

On the side...I also like to mix it with mayonnaise sometimes...or use ranch salad dressing instead...about the only time I put my fry condiment ON the fries is when there's no place on the side to put it...
