Jesus freaks accuse you of ignorance but in reality who is truly the corrupt? The ignorance of religions around the world has caused countless deaths and abuse to humans and the planet. Preist and religious figures around the world penetrate young children and someone so called god demands you give money to be saved. Free yourself from materialism and dumbness. You do not need anyone to create a religion for you. Use your own mind to make these choices since after all it is always and imperfect being that starts a new religion and it will always be these imperfect beings that add to the idea until it is obscured to serve their purporses wether it may be apparent or not. Religion is a dangerous thing as it causes the blunt denial of reality and creates an ellaborate fiction which people become so dependent. A big lie is easier to believe than a little one.

War is the answer, join the jesus freaks in the Christian jihad. There is no such thing a global warming, the earth isn't falling appart from our lack of care for the environment or anything else that doesn't benefit us. Denounce science in school and bring in the bible.

If you want to make a change don't look to religion look to knowledge. No one is going to save us, we have to save ourselves. You can't be dependent on fairy tales in such a dangerous time. We live in the kingdom of fear where there is no such thing as paranoia only ignorance.

Not sure I have a tugging in my heart. I am torn between the big bang theory and God. If I chose to start practicing religion how do I know which religion is right on their beliefs? Which religion will give me eternal life and where will I be in eternal life? Some people had some rude answers for your question. I wish they didn't. It's just rude.

several things. Doubt can keep you away. The devil can keep you away. You can simply be keeping yourself away out of fear, guilt, or uncertainty. But I can honestly tell you that that tugging is real, because I have been there before. By listening to that tug, pray to God for strength, for truth, and for forgiveness and all that doubt will go away. He's calling you to Him, answer Him. All you will recieve is love. That I can promise you. Don't be afraid to accept Him. Its the most amazing feeling you will ever feel.

Yes, if the believers in Christ show that they are saved, then other people cannot go around in heedlessness.
To be saved is not an empty claim, but it means that the man learns and practices the lesson of selfless love like Christ had done on the Cross.

Well..when I was younger I felt this 'tugging' when I first started trying to get away from christianity. Then I realized that that tugging is the whole basis of the religion. It is putting a gamble on something know1 knows the answer to and getting tons of people to pretend they know...and then puts a punishment for those who don't believe it. It's a set of silly crafted words that bring a person under it's indoctrination by fear and hope of something unknown to anyone. THIS IS WRONG. And when I realized that not only did I not feel the tugging anymore I became very anrgy at christianity for the way it works and the people dumb enough to fall for it.

I think many people have that conviction and the tugging usually draws someone to Jesus- where as some feel the conviction and ignore it because they are blinded, and maybe it is not their timing, and God has other plans for them- but they have a veil over their eyes and until God softens them, they will not receive the truth. See John 6:44

If you feel that tug, it is God working on your heart. Refraining from making that choice could be any number of things; confusion, fear, lack of information. It is hard to completely give up your old life and begin a new one through God. But, once you let go, it is the most fulfilling and uplifting experience you will ever have.

The cause is Satan. He is always there to deter you from doing anything that glorifies God. Satan will give you 1,000 or more reasons why you shouldn't accept Christ and you will think they are legitimate but they aren't. and when you finally over come Satans lies and do accept Christ you will know you have made the right decision.

Many things tug the heart the other way.
Let me give you my reason. First, I was raised in a christian family. My mother was a bible teacher. She was a good woman with a husband who wasn't good to her, or so I thought. She had five girls and me, a boy. She placed me on the alter, giving my life back to God who has sent it. Through out my younger days, I was taught about Jesus and Jehovah and the Holy Spirit. I was taught the love of Christ and the Judgments of God the Father. I was taught of hell and brimstone. I was taught, if I did not repent of sin and follow Jesus, I would go to hell. I had dreams of the last days when fire and brimstone fell from the sky and saw my mother and sisters ascending unto heaven while I was left here. That dream was re-occurring over many years. When old enough to make my on mind up. I knew who God was and that Jesus died for me, however I also thought that if I could not get through this life on my own, I could not depend on a judgmental God to see me through. As Frank Sinatra sang," I did it my way". Many times in my life this small quiet voice would say, that is not for you Jim. It made me angry, I was held to the straight and narrow even though my inner self wanted to do things not right or sinful. I once asked my mother not to pray for me. She did from my birth until her death every day. She said to me, "Oh Jim, I could never do that, you belong to God."
One of the most difficult things I had to do, was to bend my knees to a higher being and say, I'm sorry, ask forgiveness and except Jesus into my life as my savior and master. I realized that through out my life God was always in front of me as I ran from him. He will do nothing in your life until you ask him in. Fear, Pride, Sinful inner man, Satan. All those and more. I have always been at war with God, I knew who he was and like many in the world resented him. Now when a question of faith comes, I tell God, I believe, but to help me in my unbelief.
I hope you do stop running and just ask Jesus into your life.
You will be entering a war zone, however it is more than worth the task. If you want to know who is tugging, get a bible and read the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Read them over and over until you know Jesus personally.
Yours

I think this is what we call a leading question. Please, describe this tugging. If you can it's not a true religious pull, it's just a need to belong to some sort of club. For any divine experience to be true (or Veridical in philosophy) it cannot be explainable in human terms.
