I'm not a chick, but if they like you they'd like to do almost anything with you. That sounds good. I'd go for coffee instead on the first date, but that's just me. Good luck!

Well it sounds like fun, but only if you're in early 20s. This is a first date, and you need to consider how you're going to come across if you do this. If you want her to consider you a classy guy, then I wouldn't recommend taking her to a pool hall. It is a fun date, but you want to show her that she's special and taking her to a pool hall just doesn't convey that.

I think it'd be fun -- it's certainly different which is always nice! -- as long as the pool hall wasn't a smoke-choked dive filled with really seedy types and watered down drinks in dirty glasses.
If I was your date, would you excuse my lousy pool playing? (Bad eye-hand coordination but I wouldn't rip up the table.) And, if you took my sister would you mind that she'd probably wipe the table with you (that girl can really shoot pool!).

I think its a good idea pool is a very good hands on game and when u add a couple of drinks thats even better.

As long as the bar serves non-alcoholic drinks--I hate the taste of alcohol--and my date allows me win a couple of games, I'm totally cool with it!
