My grandma kept steak for 15 years and she still ate it...apparantly it wasn't that bad. If you wrapped it pretty well and there isn't much air in whatever you packed it in, then there's a chance it will be ok. Best thing to do would be to take a piece of the turkey from the bottom (where nobody can see it) and cook it and see how it is. If it's allright, then the rest should be.

My freezer has a guide inside that tells you when to use different items that have been frozen. For turkey it says 5-7 months. It most likely won't be poisonous to eat but will probably be dry, freezer burned an taste terrible.Turkey is usually one of the cheapest meats you can buy,so throw it out.My motto is "When in doubt, throw it out"!

Raw, whole poultry should only be frozen for one to two months

According to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, it is best to freeze meat at 0°F (-17.78°C) for safety reasons. If frozen meat is stored at a constant temperature of 0°F, it should be safe to eat. Although freezing meat doesn’t kill the microbes that can cause foodborne illnesses, it slows their growth by forcing them into dormancy. Some parasites however, are killed at sub-zero temperatures, although home freezing cannot guarantee this.

Theoretically, when meat is frozen correctly and maintained at the optimal freezing temperature, it should stay good forever. However, it is hard to guarantee, particularly with home freezing, that the meat will remain safe and of good quality for eating.
