Well that depends where in greenwich villiage you're going. you can either take the 1 to Christopher St or Houston St, or the A, B, C, D, E, F or V to W. 4th St.

You need to say what part of the Bronx because any train/transfer can get you there. The easiest way without knowing where you're coming from is to say to take the 6 (Brooklyn Bridge bound) to Astor Place. Get out and walk west a few blocks. If you're near the 4 or 5 train, you can take either one to Grand Central-42nd St. and transfer to the 6 to get to Astor Place.

You can also take the 2 and transfer to the 1 at 34th St-Penn Station and take it to Christopher St.
