I think a lot of people truly fall in love but it is with their IMAGE of what someone online would be like in person.
You have to meet in person to truly know someone. You have to truly know someone to love them. There are subtle nuances in everyone... body language, eye contact, pheremones, etc that all come into play in person. Most people feel a little shocked when they meet in person for the first time. It is never quite the same as it is online/on the phone/etc.
I'm not saying online relationships never work... or that feelings don't exist... I just think the word "love" doesn't genuinely come into play until a face to face relationship begins.

I would hope I woldn't fall in love with a guy online, he's not even close to where I live and he's unavailible. And no I'm not infatuated with the word love, maybe the the word sex!

Love? Through a computer? Attraction, yes. Love is compiled of many things...more than words and photos. And there are some professional chatters out there who know just what to say to make you melt. But love? No.
