why does everyone keep saying dont dye your hair, itll fall out. or go to a salon or youll ruin your hair!
ive dyed my hair over 5 times in a week with bleach and its been fine, it has gone a little dry in places whers its been redyed about ten times over the years, but apart from that ive saved sooooo much money, it would have cost hundreds to go blonde at a salon, but is about 20 quid each time ive done it in dye.

Life is too short to say "I am not going to dye my hair because it might get thin and damaged." I have been dying my hair for 5 years and it is in healthy condition. I have never heard of someone's hair falling out because it has dye in it.

I understand where you're coming from, because there are times where a person can indeed color their hair at home and have it turn out beautifully. I don't agree with some of what you said though. You may have dyed your hair 5 times in a week and had no serious negative repercussions as a result, but most people (especially those with thinner, drier hair textures) would most definitely end up with fried, damaged hair if they attempted that. Not only that, but some people don't have the experience or know-how to drastically lighten hair to blonde at home. I have seen people who have attempted this at home whose hair ended up an orange fried mess on top of their heads. (This scenario is just one example.) Different situations call for different advice. Just because you can do something to your hair and have it work doesn't mean the same will work for someone else. Likewise, just because one person's hair gets damaged or turns out badly from a coloring experience doesn't mean the same will happen to another person. The proper response varies by question. Again, I do see your point though. A salon is not always the answer, and there are times when hair can be colored sooner than what is recommended.

its just a better quailty and your at less risk of stuff happening when you go to a solan. normally you can tell if someone gets their hair dyed at a salon or themselves. it just looks nicer and nicer kept when done at a salon. sure your hair may not be falling out now but what about in a few years??? your just damaging your hair in the long run. you can't really trust ALL of the over-the-counter dyes so just be careful with which brands you use, if yoour still gonna use them. plus, when you go to a solan although it may cost more it will last longer so really i don't think your saving money because you have to dye your hair more frequently with non-salon dyes.

Why are asking these people? Dye your hair until it all falls out, who cares really. As long as you rock it, that's all that really matters.
