I am Buddhist, I try to follow the eightfold Path and incorporate the Noble Virtues into my life, as for attaining enlightenment...boy....that's tough.....I'm not enlightened yet.....I have made fundamental changes to my life and feel like I'm getting there, I am realising the fundamental human condition and try to find time for the mindful contemplation required but I'm finding it tough...

I come to this forum for some insights into others ideology for inspiration and practice the precepts wherever possible but.....wow....its a long journey.......

I practice it but I need more practice.....

Peace to all

I do, although I don't go by the label of Buddhist. I understand the teachings, and I incorporate key elements of Buddhism into my everyday life. But, there is so much more to learn.

I meditated in Zazen for a few weeks. My knees began to creak... coincidentally around the time I moved beyond Zen.

There was time enough for a good understanding of Zen... it's not a state of mind... it's experiencing who you are.

You don't need to meditate to question who you are.

In fact, I quit Zen because they meditate as an end, not as a means to an end.
