I know he is wrong for me. He has nothing to offer, but love and emotional support. Sex is great. Been together for 1 year. I do not want to go back to him... i have tryed to end things before..we always end up together again. I feel that I have done everything to end our relationship. I am able to stay away from him but if he looks for me.. I am unable to shut him down. I hate to see him sad over me. I really want all this to end!!!

um can you say restraining order?? Well falling short of that...you could just change your phone number and email addy and such like that...I have had a man that kept coming back and trying to get back with me...after he dumped me like 5 different times...ok so He was REALLY good in bed...what can I say? The only thing I could do to resist him was to get lost in the world. Make sure that he can't get to you!! A simple change of contact info and the such...also aviod anyone that hangs out with him or in his circle...don't talk about him...don't do anything that pertains to him just pick up and go forward the best you can...if he does come up to you pretend you don't know him!!! and WALK AWAY!!!

Stay away from him for three months. That's what all books recommend. Read "It's called a break-up because it's broken." No talking, no seeing, no e-mails. Nothing for three months. Then you can't see him sad over you, because you won't know he's sad.

Go out with friends when you go out so it will be easier to distract yourself, and not find yourself alone with him.
If he "looks for you" tell him about your feelings, that you cannot go through all this again. Then walk away.
