...and he is selling me his 2003 toyota camry, and he was going to drive it down here in feb when I get my income tax. He said that all I had to give him for it was 5000.00!! But the more I think about it the more I wonder if he's giving it to me early for christmas.... I mean.... he is driving it from southern cali, to northern oregon for christmas, so wouldnt it make sence to let me have it now and pay later, instead of driving home, and then a month later, take time off work and drive it back down here? I am just sooo damn excited I wish I knew! What do you guys predict? lol

Depending on the parent he will just give it to you. The many reason he is driving up to you is to see you and if he knows you need a car he will most likely give it to as a Christmas present

Cassandra 5grand sounds a bit steep dont ya think after all that driving and what kind of miles are on it anywayplus you his daughter 2500 tops bring it up to him and see what happens

I think you know. You can hope, but in your heart you know. Your dad may want to give it to you, but will he or can he. Beyond that, he may give it to you now with the understanding it will be paid later. And, if yu dont pay, he will hold it against yu.
